"Stop following me!" Kikyo turned around and shouted.
A pair of dog ears peeked out from behind a tree, and Inuyasha slowly shuffled into view.
"K-Kikyo."
Inuyasha's ears drooped as he stammered out her name.
"It's been fifty years. We have nothing to do with each other. Go your own way."
Kikyo remained unmoved.
"But..." Inuyasha stepped forward and suddenly hugged Kikyo.
Kikyo was about to struggle when she heard him whisper in her ear:
"I, Inuyasha, have loved only you, both fifty years ago and fifty years later."
