At sixteen, Xu Zhou came to Jiangcheng with a face full of bruises and a copy of The Complete Guide to Socializing, thanks to the help of his sponsor.
When he first met Shen Heng, Xu Zhou grinned at him with the textbook-perfect smile he'd learned from The Complete Guide to Socializing.
Xu Zhou thought they'd be friends for life.
Who knew Shen Heng would confess to him? Xu Zhou stayed up all night poring over The Complete Guide to Socializing, but couldn't find any advice on what to do when your best bro confesses to you.
On his seventeenth birthday, candlelight flickered on the cake as Xu Zhou closed his eyes and made a heartfelt wish: he wanted to spend his whole life with Shen Heng.
When Shen Heng first saw Xu Zhou, he had only one thought: Whoa, this guy's teeth are so white.
As they spent time together, Shen Heng found Xu Zhou very interesting and unique. But why did he keep dreaming about him?
A short scene:
Xu Zhou got into a fight at school and was caught by the discipline director, who said, "Bring your parents in."
Xu Zhou ran to Class One and asked Shen Heng to pretend to be his parent.
Shen Heng raised an eyebrow. "Call me big brother."
Xu Zhou gritted his teeth. "Big brother."
Shen Heng pushed his luck. "Call me older brother."
Xu Zhou ground his teeth, his face flushed, and forced out, "Older brother."
Shen Heng patted Xu Zhou's head. "Good boy."
They went to the director's office. Seeing Shen Heng come in with Xu Zhou, the director asked, "Are you Xu Zhou's guardian?"
Shen Heng nodded. "Yes. I'm his brother."
The director looked doubtful. "Your biological brother?"
Shen Heng nodded and lied without batting an eye, successfully leading Xu Zhou away.
After they left, the director looked at Xu Zhou's file, slammed the table, and shouted, "You two, get back here! You're only six months apart in age. How could you possibly be biological brothers?"
