Surprise! The Top-Tier Star and I Have a Baby

Blurb: As a gentle beauty whose fame is stuck between second-tier celebrity and notorious scandal, Shen Zhaoduo likes children, but never expected one to suddenly show up and claim to be hers. After a whole series of paternity tests and other procedures, the child really turns out to be hers. But she's still a virgin!!! And the father is none other than Gu Jiang, a newly emerging singer who's one year younger than her and has never quite made it big. What a coincidence: they've just signed on to a dating reality show together. Scene One: Shen Zhaoduo is sure this child is part of a rival's scheme, and is ready to kick the father and daughter, who have just met but already act like family, out of her house. Gu Jiang and the kid give her matching pitiful puppy-dog looks, like they've been abandoned. Shen Zhaoduo, a sucker for handsome faces: It's really hard not to give in. Shen Zhaoduo's agent: It's really easy not to give in. Scene Two: Netizen A: I'm into Gu Jiang's looks. He just doesn't seem very bright. Netizen B: Such a handsome guy, wasted on that white lotus Shen Zhaoduo. On the dating show, Gu Jiang hands Shen Zhaoduo water when she plays basketball; she earns money while he spends it; she nearly blows up the kitchen while he cooks like the Kitchen God has descended... Beneath the moon, Gu Jiang plays guitar and sings love songs to Shen Zhaoduo as she grills skewers... Netizen C: This ship is so cheesy and yet so good! Netizen D: Have we got this ship backwards? Zhaoduo is the mighty one! The chemistry between them on the show gives so many viewers a wonderful taste of being in love. Before the show has even finished airing, the pair quickly become top-tier stars.
