I'm Cleaning Up the Entertainment Industry

This novel has been completely rewritten. In her previous life, Du Qing went from being the heir to a wealthy family to a nobody after getting involved with a scumbag. Just when he finally landed a supporting role in a movie, he died in a deliberately caused accident. After being reborn, Du Qing was bound to a System from a planet beyond the heavens. It demanded that he help cleanse Earth of its turbid energy and upgrade it into a high-level civilization. Du Qing scoffed. "Clean up corruption and return to simplicity? And do that in showbiz?" The System crackled with electricity. "Are you in or not?" Du Qing looked at the threatening System, then thought about the golden finger he stood to gain. He readily agreed. "I'm in!" To earn points, Young Master Du worked diligently, going undercover in the entertainment industry under all kinds of identities to expose and dismantle its shady dealings and unwritten rules. For his outstanding work and major contributions, netizens dubbed Du Qing the entertainment industry's top disciplinary inspector. But what was the deal with this Ling Xuefeng? Wasn't he supposed to be an aloof heartthrob who never got caught up in scandals? So why was he always hovering around Du Qing? One day, Du Qing suddenly found himself in danger, and Ling Xuefeng came swooping in once again. Clutching his chest, Du Qing stared in a daze as the man fought a cloud of black mist in a deadlock. Wasn't that glittering golden weapon in Ling Xuefeng's hand the one that had been pulled out of my chest? Du Qing felt a little dizzy. Had he transmigrated from a science fiction world into a fantasy world? A rich kid reborn and forced to become a paparazzo, the bottom (Du Qing) x an icy Daoist master who descends the mountain to vanquish demons and gets dubbed an emperor of cinema, the top (Ling Xuefeng)
