[Nurarihyon No Mago] The Undying Phoenix

Pinned notice!

I'm slowly moving everything over to Lofter at a snail's pace!

I'm gradually transferring all my works. Once the move is done, I'll start updating on the new platform.

Search for my pen name in lowercase pinyin to find the collection of related works.

See you on Lofter!

Traveler, don't turn around or look back. Drift away with the wind.

That step is your signpost. Run toward the unknown.

There are unforgettable voices, and days filled with tears.

You almost die, then survive.

If you keep going on that journey, sorrow will no longer come.

I left home when I was young, drifted overseas for so many years, and then came home again.

When I finally thought about it, I realized I'd become an immortal phoenix.

Things to know before reading

/ Original female protagonist.

/ Lots of original plot based on the source material. I'm a plot-wrecker, throwing all kinds of random, strange things into the story, but I promise the basic logic will hold together, and the foreshadowing will run from the first chapter to the ending.

/ If you still like the premise after the first twelve chapters, then you're a true fan.

/ At its core, this is a coming-of-age story. There are no pairings outside the original work. It's not cool at all, so it's not for readers who are into edgy stuff or want a power fantasy.

/ Believe it or not, this update really did release seven chapters at once... I got the scheduled release time wrong in my drafts, and while I was halfway through editing, it suddenly published everything. Why!!!

/ Writing chapters 7–11 left me in despair and practically drove me into seclusion (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

Happy ending guaranteed.
