Passengers on Train K-81 are forbidden to wander around without an attendant.
Because we're all lower-class citizens. Passengers are really just prisoners. When the world ended in 2012 and was reset, our ancestors were exiled by the outside world for an unforgivable crime. As punishment, we were condemned to endless journeys aboard K-81 and cramped living conditions, never to return to the newborn Earth.
What could this unforgivable crime be? Born human, yet forever cut off from the outside world. The abandoned passengers drift aimlessly across the surface of the Earth, forever wandering. I don't want to think about it. I heard I was born guilty, born bearing heavy shackles.
And yet...
"There is no such thing as Train K-81."

Wow! Really well written! When the little boy ran away, I was nervous along with him. The sense of immersion was so strong! I found out the truth at the end, and all my previous doubts were solved. No wonder I felt a little melancholy throughout the whole process. It's so awesome! ! !
Suddenly I thought of Gao Ming's Genius Madman
