Zhao Zhiyi is a genius. He earned his PhD at 25 and has worked in the emergency department for three years. He's hot-tempered and, thanks to rumors that his older brother is the director of the ICU, supposedly throws his weight around the hospital with impunity, acting even more arrogantly than the department directors.
Lin Zongheng is a genius director. He won Best New Director at a prestigious film festival at twenty, and by twenty-eight had collected countless Best Director awards at home and abroad. With deep pockets and immense talent, he looks down on everyone else and is a bona fide tyrant on set.
At thirty, the tyrant decided making movies wasn't interesting anymore and switched to medical documentaries.
Then Lin Zongheng hit the biggest setback of his life: Zhao Zhiyi. In the end, Lin Zongheng got what he deserved.
Zhao Zhiyi: "If you point your butt at my hand again, take your camera and get out of the operating room. Then write out the principles of sterile technique in the operating room a hundred times from memory."
During a documentary interview:
Lin Zongheng asked, "What does a doctor need to learn?"
Zhao Zhiyi: "As a doctor, you need to master four things: quick eyes, quick reactions, quick feet, and quick speech."
Lin Zongheng: "Does that help you treat patients more efficiently?"
Zhao Zhiyi: "No. It helps you run away and call the police faster when patients or their families cause trouble."

It's a medical story, and the author is only an amateur. I rely on Baidu and CNKI for professional knowledge, so there are bound to be errors. Please go easy on me.
Story blurb:
Everyone knows Lu Yang has a childhood sweetheart who's pure, gentle, graceful, and beautiful.
Lu Yang: Hah, gentle and graceful? You must be blind. She's clearly spoiled, willful, and vain.
And yet this spoiled, willful girl, who can also be adorable at times, is the one Lu Yang has loved wholeheartedly for years.
*
One day, after getting drunk, Qin Wanwan wakes up in Lu Yang's bed.
A few months later, Qin Wanwan is heavily pregnant. Holding their child over Lu Yang's head, she asks him, "Lu Yang, do you love me?"
Lu Yang's eyes flicker. "Be good and eat."
Qin Wanwan: "Are you going to say it or not? If you don't, I'll take the baby and leave!"
Lu Yang: ...
Qin Wanwan angrily starts packing to go back to her parents' home, when he suddenly wraps his arms around her from behind, kisses her hair, and whispers in her ear, "I love you."
There's always someone in this world whom, once you fall in love with, you'll love for a lifetime.
*
Before they got married, Dr. Lu would occasionally post on his Moments, mostly medical advice like "Ten Essential First Aid Tips."
After they got married, the tone of Lu Yang's Moments changed completely. He'd post not-so-subtle displays of affection and pictures of their child once or twice a day, making all the single people want to block him!
Theme:
The ending was too hasty and it felt like there was still a lot of things left unfinished
Is it because my IQ is not enough? What on earth did Cheng Xiaoxiao do? I was confused too.
I would like to ask what is going on with Cheng Xiaoxiao. Has Ye Dan thought about starting a new chapter? Seems to know
The first half was really well written and interesting, but the second half lost its focus. It ended without explaining a lot of things clearly? It was depressing!!
The rest of the story is really too rushed, a lot of things are not explained clearly, there is nothing practical, just giving birth to the child and then the finale.
Is it for another novel? That one is not updated every day. This one will be finished soon. Wouldn't it be better to update it?
The writing is average and the story is okay.
"Legacy" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ doctor
It's great. I hope I can write some extra stories.
I think I saw plagiarism, the chapter about getting a marriage certificate
