Yin and Yang

Qin Yang was a fortune-teller who could barely make ends meet.

Before her master died, he repeatedly warned her never to take on lucrative work like feng shui consultations or exorcism rituals.

So the obedient Qin Yang could only take her six copper coins and set up a stall on the street every day, casting divination lots to help people find lost things and tell their fortunes.

She charged only six copper coins per reading, and barely scraped by.

Then one night, hearing a commotion outside her door, Qin Yang cast a lot for herself.

Looking at the ominous result, Qin Yang, with no one to rely on, prepared to flee.

But someone broke down the door, blindfolded her, and carried her off. For reasons unknown, she became the “groom.”

The bride was the young miss of the wealthy Fu family, who had died seven days earlier!

Fu Luan had been dead for seven days, yet her complexion was rosy and she looked lifelike.

The Fu family didn't dare bury her hastily, so they called in a celestial master.

The master said, “Miss Fu passed away before she could marry, and her attachment to the mortal world is deep. A wedding ceremony can break it.”

And so Qin Yang, whose birth chart was the best match and who had no family, became their target.
