[Saint Seiya: The First Generation] Song of Farewell

Our history will be buried, our lives will be crushed. We cannot defeat the passage of time and the end of life, nor can we overcome the changes of the age and the turning of heaven and earth.

But, gods, though our lives are small and fragile, and our journey foolish and laughable, this is still the only life we have, the one and only time we get to live.

You may not mock us, look down on us, or deny us.

We have entrusted the future, along with this land, to humanity. Our lives will turn to dust, but the points of starlight we leave behind will be inherited and become eternal.

Gods, we shall now take our leave of you.

Everyone knows the usual fake blurb, right? (Hey!)

It's been ages since I wrote fanfiction. Let me have some fun between working on my thesis. I've got about 50,000 words in reserve, so enjoy them while you can. Updates will come whenever fate allows.

There will be nonsense, heavy alterations to the original mythology, wild flights of fancy, and plenty of meme references. Please enjoy it however you like.

Anyway, it's just another overdone Saint Seiya fanfic based on the original generation, you know the drill (hey!). As usual, there'll be tons of original and heavily altered plotlines, but no transmigration... I'm telling you, leave the dimensional barrier alone. Don't transmigrate, it's just a child.

...Also, since I'm known as the Friendship Warrior, this will be a better read if you approach the whole story with the attitude of "This isn't friendship, it's love.jpg."
