The Illegitimate Eldest Son Has Had Enough

After transmigrating, Zhong Heng became the eldest son of a concubine in the family of a Ministry of Rites vice director. His birth mother was a frail concubine who died young, and his father was an idiot who had offended his superior and had no hope of promotion. The only person he could rely on was his capable stepmother, who had no children of her own. But life is full of surprises. His stepmother became pregnant and gave birth to a legitimate son, and his carefree days vanished in an instant. The legitimate-son status that had almost been his slipped away before he could claim it. He had to give up the best courtyard, cool in summer and warm in winter, and even the marriage that had been arranged for him changed overnight. Clutching several threadbare quilts, Zhong Heng looked around the empty house: He was done being the eldest son of a concubine! The blurb may change at any time.
