Three-year-old Albert is the "ball" in a pregnant-and-running-away story. Before dying, his mother asked a friend to take him back to his biological father. To help three-year-old Albert recognize his dad, she told him that his father was "rich and handsome." Albert kept those two words in mind, but got kidnapped on the way.
In the cave where he was being held, Albert met the "rich, handsome" richest man in New York. As they spent time together, everyone who saw their identical amber-honey eyes was certain this was Iron Man's kid!
Albert thought he'd found his dad! But the good times didn't last. Albert was kidnapped!
While being passed from one captor to another, Albert began to realize that he might have more than one "rich, handsome" dad, since each of them looked so much like him!
Albert didn't know that he had inherited his mother's species' innate ability. As a youngling, he could survive by taking on some of the abilities of powerful people around him to disguise himself. Once he felt safe enough, he could drop the disguise and reveal his true self.
So when his Iron Man dad saw Albert again, he discovered that his kid had several more dads!
A telepath professor dad, a magnetic helmet dad, and a curly-haired detective dad all said they were the kid's father!
None of the dads could outdo the others, so they had to raise Albert together, until the old bat next door came knocking------
Kid! Why have your eyes turned blue? Why can't you read minds anymore? Wait! Since when do you have a black bat mask!
The Gotham Bat smiled faintly. "Because this is obviously a Batkid!"
Diforms are a unique species. As younglings, they can survive by taking on some of the abilities of powerful people around them to disguise themselves. Once they feel safe enough, they can drop the disguise and reveal their true selves.
Albert is a Diform youngling. While looking for his dad, he was passed around and picked up quite a few abilities. For example------
He got the richest man in New York's amber-honey eyes. No one can resist a plea from someone with those eyes.
He got the magnetic helmet guy's elegant gay purple. Wearing purple doubles his charm.
He got the curly-haired detective's crime-solving, spotlight-attracting constitution. When a case happens, he's the brightest kid on the scene.
When his biological dad finally saw his kid, he discovered that the little one had several more dads!
The Gotham Bat gave a cold laugh and set out to prove to these fake dads, through action, that this was obviously a Batkid!
Also known as "Everyone Wants to Be My Dad." The timeline is out of order. Enjoy~~
