A Gentle Soul Like Jade

Yan Ruyu.

It is a name everyone fears. He is the leader of the unorthodox martial-arts faction Blue Beauty. It is said that he is highly skilled in martial arts and has committed every kind of atrocity since entering the martial world. For some reason, he especially despises officials: not one person he spots who holds office ever returns alive.

For a time, he nearly vanished without a trace. Recently, no one knows why, but he has become active again, killing many people throughout the martial world.

Though he is called Yan Ruyu, rumors say he is hideously ugly, with misplaced eyes and nose, sores all over his body, and a head covered in ringworm. The faction is called unorthodox mainly because its members are elusive and rarely appear in public. Yan Ruyu's greatest hobbies are raising poisonous insects, snakes, and rats, and practicing the arts of cultivation and alchemy. He truly dreams of becoming an immortal, even in his sleep.
