I was reminiscing about our youth with a friend and reread this story I wrote years ago. I really was like a child back then, and my writing was very immature. But you can tell I was genuinely happy at the time (I'll always miss 2018), so I'm leaving it here for everyone's amusement.
Is it better to be the emperor, or the emperor's aunt? Su Qi, the Jin Kingdom's most feckless and dashing Grand Princess, loves three things most in life: fighting, visiting brothels, and bullying her imperial nephew. Her little emperor nephew is so sweet and soft, always following her around and calling her Auntie... But how did that adorable puppy turn into a wolfdog when he grew up? And why, why, why does he keep trying to corner her against the wall? "Hey, get this straight. I'm your aunt!" "That's a lie." "You have a wife!" "That's a lie." "You like me?" "That's true." "..."
Su Qi's three favorite things in the second half of her life: bullying her emperor husband, bullying her emperor husband, and bullying her emperor husband. Mm... and maybe her crown prince son, too. This is a funny story about a scheming male lead who plays the harmless fool to win over an innocent female lead. The leads are not blood-related.
