Pumice is a strange kind of stone. Just as its name suggests, it defies the law of gravity: it has real weight, yet floats in the air without ever falling. It is one of the Seven Great Stones.
Between the distant clouds and sky, a massive shadow moved slowly. Hidden within the clouds, it was impossible to make out its full shape. Only a faint silhouette revealed it to be a small island: the largest known piece of pumice in the world, Sky Island.
There was a village on the island. It had no official name, though it could also be called Hidden Village.
