The Light Novel Policeman's Unusual Days

The protagonist is the sort of person who keeps hopping back and forth on the brink of death the whole time, yet somehow never gets hurt. Couple: designer x young police officer (scheming underneath x warm on the outside, cold on the inside). There are quite a few side couples, so your mileage may vary. Part One: Murder Part Two: Disappearance Part Three: Kidnapping Part Four: Deliberate Assault Part Five: Mysterious Events on a Deserted Island Part Six: Chasing Dreams in the Entertainment Industry Part Seven: Escape from an Ancient Village Warnings: This isn't a romance novel. People who play tactical games all have dirty minds, and the descriptions are very, very, very much from a straight man's perspective. I say it three times because it's important. The author pretty much forced it that way. In a certain sense, this is a wish-fulfillment story, at least for me. Theme: Even if life is a muddy swamp, please don't give up struggling.
