I'm a Great Director, I Don't Make Bad Movies

Li Shu transmigrated into an entertainment-industry novel she had read. But she wasn't the heroine or a supporting female character. She wasn't even a disposable extra. She was merely one of the countless ordinary people who served as background scenery in the story.

System: I am your "I'm a Great Director" System. I'll provide you with funds for making movies and courses in directing. There's only one condition: you must pass a simulated film shoot in the System space before you can shoot in the real world. You're going to be the greatest director, and great directors never make bad movies!

Li Shu: This kind of good fortune actually exists?

This was what Li Shu said to the heroine of the novel:

"Darling, I think your face is made for the movies, and I can help you understand acting faster. So, how about taking a chance with me?"

And this was how she persuaded the hero:

"There's one fatal flaw in your acting right now, and I can help you overcome it. Don't you want to prove yourself once and for all? I've attached the script. Please take a look, and I'll await your good news."

Li Shu thought victory was within reach.

What a joke. I've got the male and female leads together in one movie. If it doesn't become a hit, I'll eat this table right here.

Of course, Li Shu didn't eat the table.

She became a famous tyrant on set and a world-renowned director, making Chinese cinema one of the country's cultural calling cards on the world stage.

Actors who starred in her films were often called "Li's leading ladies" and "Li's leading men."

By then, the first-generation "Li's leading lady" and "Li's leading man," the heroine and hero, were wondering: Why hasn't Director Li asked me to make another movie? Didn't she say I was the best actor in her heart?

Sorry, Director Li went on to say that to every one of her leading actors :)

P.S.

1. Please note, this is a novel-copying fic, because I'm a basic fan.

2. It is a novel-copying fic. Repeating that for emphasis.

3. I've made this very clear, so please don't bash the heroine for copying novels.
