The main character's name happens to resemble Theodore Nott's purely by coincidence. I didn't know much about that character back then: I skimmed the original books when I was twelve, and when I started this story at sixteen, I was still immersed in all kinds of Professor Snape fanfiction.

I got "Theo" from a list of British baby names. The name comes from Greek and carries the meaning of divinity, representing holiness and nobility. This is my heartfelt wish for the character as his creator.
