After the Divorce, I Married My Ex-Husband's Older Brother

*Blurb One* Gu Yu transmigrates and becomes a princess who has been neglected by her prince consort and left alone in her chambers for two years. A beloved daughter of the emperor and empress, Gu Yu decides to divorce him. Bye-bye! The next one will be better. After the divorce, Gu Yu plans to find herself a new husband, preferably someone gentle and refined, like a jade-like young gentleman. Unexpectedly, she gets bound to a Beloved Consort System. [Beloved Consort System activated. Target: General Gu Yuan, Grand General of the Cavalry.] Gu Yu: A beloved consort? A general? She thinks she might have just learned something she shouldn't have... *Blurb Two* Everyone in the capital knows that the princess fell in love at first sight with the newly appointed top scholar and insisted on marrying him, only to be left alone in her chambers. This has become the favorite joke for noblewomen to discuss in private with their close friends. Later, the princess and her consort divorce. Everyone thinks the princess is now a discarded wife and is sure to cry so loudly her wails will echo through the rafters. Her former husband thinks so, too. But when he sees his ex-wife pinned against a wall and kissed by the general, her eyes full of affection and her cheeks flushed, he still feels as if his head is shrouded in green clouds, and he is beside himself with rage. So that woman only ever cared about his looks! That's why she went after his older brother as soon as they divorced! The noblewomen of the capital are grinding their teeth in envy: The general is both a brilliant warrior and scholar, with countless military victories, a tall and straight figure like a pine, and clear, handsome features like a cypress. How could he fall for such an arrogant, ill-mannered discarded wife? The general's confident entourage of retainers all think: The emperor dotes on his legitimate daughter so much that he might let the general in on things behind closed doors. The general must only be pretending! * System: [Once everything is done, brush off the dust and leave, hiding all your achievements.jpg] Blurb screenshotted in October 2019 Theme:
