My Phone Has Come to Life

Shang Luo comes home from work to find a handsome stranger sitting in her house. The barefoot man standing on her floor even claims to be the pear-shaped phone she’s been using for a year. Luo Luo covers her eyes. “Could you put some clothes on before we talk?” Yao San: “Not using a phone case is every phone’s dignity.” Bonus scene Friend A: Third Brother, how can you tell whether Sister Luo Luo is angry? Yao San lights a cigarette. “She goes quiet and starts cooking.” Friend A: Then how do you make it up to her? Yao San: “Heh, she’s always the one who comes to make peace with me.” What actually happens: Shang Luo doesn’t even look at the feast Yao San has cooked. Angry, she takes up the spatula and cooks for herself for the first time in ages, refusing to accept anything she hasn’t earned. Yao San sits at the table, calm as can be, apparently waiting for something. As soon as Shang Luo puts the food in the pan, she discovers that none of the seasoning jars will open. After struggling for ages, she calls out, “Yao San, help me open the sauce jars.” Yao San rushes into the kitchen and opens the jars, grinning smugly. “See? You can’t do anything without me.”
