The Ladder to Heaven

A fairly traditional cultivation story, with no System, reborn, or transmigrate-into-a-book elements.

Wen Ge grew up in the mud, and more than anyone, she knows that to keep from being trampled, you have to become strong.

She joined a sect and devoted herself to cultivation, only to discover that the entire sect, just like her, had long ago been chosen as a sacrificial offering.

The sect was destroyed, and after once again losing those dearest to her, Wen Ge became a demon.

She ascended to the pinnacle of demonic power, pointing her long sword at the heavens. The Heavenly Dao is unfeeling. How can it claim to be the Heavenly Dao?

Today, she will slay the heavens.

She is a fallen demon, and he is a Buddha who saves the world. She is his tribulation. And he wants to be the ladder that helps her ascend to heaven.
