Ten Years, Then Another Ten Years: Shinichi and Ran

You finally came back, while I still had time before I grew old and lonely. The most distant distance in the world is not between life and death, but when I stand right in front of you, and you don’t know that I love you. The most distant distance in the world is not when I stand right in front of you, and you don’t know that I love you, but when we know we love each other, yet cannot be together. The farthest distance in the world is not when we know we love each other, yet cannot be together, but when we have never met, and are destined never to meet. The farthest distance is the distance between you and me: we hold hands, yet I only dare to bury my secret deep in my heart.
