Ender's Football

[Updated weekly] [Upcoming esports novel:

Don't Pick Up a Champion from the Trash Heap (also known as: Pick Up a Fallen Gunner and Reach the Pinnacle of Life)]

A Chinese boy makes a name for himself with one goal!

Ander is the sun. He not only sets the field alight, but also illuminates Sieghard's confused heart.

No one but him knows the ambition burning in this Chinese boy's eyes.

"When I win the Ballon d'Or, will you trade it for your Golden Glove?" Ander held out his hand.

"Deal." The gifted goalkeeper with a broken leg took it and got back to his feet.

From then on, one of them tore through defenses on the field, while the other forged an iron wall in front of the goal.

The height of summer is always the most beautiful time for a fairy tale to begin.

Back then, the boys were as lovely as poetry.

Like that scorching, distant 2014, when the Champions League final became a Madrid derby and Germany lifted the World Cup in Brazil.

Ander's story was only just beginning.

*Note: This story is semi-fictionalized and starts when the characters are young. It's friendly to readers unfamiliar with soccer.
