This Is a Misunderstanding

The author Qu Zhongyi was suffering from writer's block. While looking for career inspiration for her protagonist on a dating app, she accidentally stumbled into a den of creeps.

They may be ugly, and they may be rude, but they also have no idea what they are like themselves.

Location, age, what are you doing...

Looking at the barrage of sleazy messages, Qu Zhongyi's first question was instantly answered.

Debt collection, loan sharking, garbage picking: she could rattle off dozens of jobs with her eyes closed. The key was that when you were out and about, you could make up your identity as you went.

The good news was that Qu Zhongyi used nothing but a keyboard to tear into countless creeps.

The bad news was that the nonsense she had bragged about became reality.

One moment she was frantically pounding away at her keyboard, and the next she was picking up trash with a broom.

Qu Zhongyi: ...

Hey, friend, want to make a guest appearance as a piece of garbage?

Theme: The wicked get what they deserve.
