Love in the Crosshairs

[New mystery story, Detective Case Files, now updating]

The key to the Great Fortune Detective Agency isn't detective work, but great fortune: making a fortune.

The agency has three people: two bosses and one employee.

Boss Chai loves money. As long as the pay is good, he'll climb mountains and cross rivers to find cats and dogs without ever complaining.

Boss Liang loves food. Get a meal with every case, and it's perfect.

The only employee, Jiang Wan, joined the agency six months ago, but she seems to be full of secrets.

The three of them take on all kinds of cases together, working in perfect sync as an unbeatable team.

One day, Jiang Wan discovers that Boss Chai may be greedy, but he never takes what isn't his.

Boss Liang may love food, but he only likes feasting when the three of them are together.

Three years ago, Jiang Wan, who was studying criminology abroad, suddenly dropped out. No one knows why.

A cursed painting, a mysterious thief, a strange art exhibition...

They all seem to be somehow connected to her.

What is she investigating?

Or is someone lurking in the shadows, drawing her ever onward?

The Great Fortune Detective Agency is officially open for business.

Looking for people, looking for things...

Whatever you want to know,

As long as you pay,

There's nothing we can't find out.

[Story Blurb]

Chai Mo, a rising director who has moved from working in front of the camera to behind it.

In his childhood memories, a little girl once told him, “My future home has to have a huge glass greenhouse where I can eat breakfast every day.”

Time passed, and he had long forgotten what the girl looked like, yet he built a huge glass greenhouse in his new home.

Wang Wenya is not at all elegant.

With a short haircut cooler than any boy's, she rides a heavy motorcycle. She's a sniper in a secret military unit. After accidentally seeing one of a certain director's films, she scoffs: What kind of garbage is this? And it even got rave reviews?

A rising entertainment-industry director + a special forces girl = smoldering + cool
