[The Outcast] My Head Is a Green Pasture

“Somewhere in the world, there is always another person who becomes you, or who was you all along.” The first time Zhang Lingyu saw Zheng Xian'er, the little girl was covered in blood and bruises, so hurt that anyone would feel for her. When she saw him, her eyes sparkled and her voice brimmed with excitement. “How can you look so ethereal?” The first time he saw Su Haoran, she had forced an enemy's attack back to where it came from. Her brows were furrowed, but her eyes shone. Her ability and gaze were so much like someone in his memories that he stepped in. She followed close behind him, looking him over with undisguised admiration. “You really are an ethereal little Daoist.” Only later did he learn, and finally confirm, that the two of them were one and the same person.
