After Izayoi leaves the story, the bond shifts to Inuyasha, but he's just a tool. The heroine treats Inuyasha, Kikyo, Kagome, Rin, Jaken, and the others like her children. Once she vaguely understands her own feelings, she always favors the older dog and lets everyone else do as they please. Because of the heroine's timeline, Kagome and Kikyo will lean more toward Kikyo, but Kagome won't be vilified.]
