The Homebody Interview Column
Before the blind date:
Homebody: What kind of person are you hoping to find?
Lu Lin (after thinking seriously): I'd like someone gentle, sweet, and understanding. The key is that we get along, right? I don't want us to have lots of pointless arguments later.
Homebody: Hey, wake up! You're already 26 and still setting your standards this high! Do you also expect the woman to cook and look after the kids after you get married?
Lu Lin (considering the possibility): That's not necessary. If she wants to be a full-time housewife, I can support her financially. If she doesn't, I have a very regular routine, so I can do some of the housework and help look after the children after we marry.
Homebody: Good. If you had a really retrograde, male chauvinist mindset, even a blind date couldn't save you!
Lu Lin (puzzled): Am I really that old-fashioned? Terrible author, tell me, is there a heroine like that?
Homebody: Sure! And if there isn't, I'll make one for you!
After the blind date:
Lu Lin: Thank you, Author. The heroine really is exactly my type!
Ruan Muyi: Ah, how embarrassing. I made such a fool of myself the first time we met. It's just so... mortifying.
Lu Lin: After getting to know her, I found that she's also sweet, gentle, and understanding. In short, she's wonderful. I'm sure the person I want to spend my life with is someone like Muyi.
Ruan Muyi: Hm? I think he's pretty great, too.
Homebody: All right, all right. As long as you like each other, go enjoy being a couple!
See how two adorably awkward people who met through a blind date learn to fall in love, get married, and make little dumplings.
In a word, it's all about chemistry. From that moment on, I can read the love in everything you do.
A shy heroine from ancient times x a modern male lead with an old-fashioned, steady temperament.
P.S. The heroine isn't a total airhead. She has brains, but only as many as this lousy author's brain can come up with :)
My upcoming book, A Literary Young Woman in the 1970s, is now available for pre-registration. Come check it out, cuties!
Blurb:
*Transmigrator Fang Mi x local soldier Shen Suiyuan?
*A story of a hero saving a beauty, and a benefactor insisting she repay him by marrying him.
Almost a month after transmigrating, Fang Mi still wasn't quite used to Shen Suiyuan's enthusiasm.
Wasn't this man being a little too nice?
He had saved her and even gone out of his way to help her afterward.
He was practically a model citizen!
Even Fang Mi, who could laugh at herself, felt too embarrassed to accept Shen Suiyuan's help as if it were her due.
Fang Mi (rubbing her hands together): "Um, Brother Shen, thank you so much for saving me. You really don't have to be so nice to me. I can take care of everything from here."
Shen Suiyuan (firmly): "No. I have to take responsibility for you."
Fang Mi (rubbing her forehead helplessly): "Haha, no need to take it so seriously. It was just an accidental brush against my chest. You can see I didn't make a big deal out of it."
Shen Suiyuan (frowning): "Comrade Fang, please be serious. I mean it. Don't worry, I won't force you. Once you agree, we'll start dating."
Fang Mi (stunned): "Huh? Isn't that a little too fast?"
Shen Suiyuan (guiltily): "..."
He had been the one to develop feelings first, so Shen Suiyuan didn't dare look Fang Mi in the eye. He lowered his head and quietly showed his determination through his actions.
Fang Mi herself says: Let's put romance on hold for now. I can't just sit around doing nothing here. I have to start a career. /fists clenched/
Reality: She can't do anything practical, so that kind of work isn't for her. Fang Mi has no choice but to find another way out...
Coming next: Reborn as Fu Mei in the 1990s. Please add it to your reading list!
Blurb:
Fu Mei of Taoyuan Village had been called a lucky girl by the elders since she was little. She was born into a good family: her father was the village Party secretary, and her two older brothers had either joined the army or gone to college. Nobody ever had a bad word to say about the Tao family.
Fu Mei lived up to her name. She was round and adorable, and even in the hardest times, her family made sure their only little girl had enough to eat and wear. As she grew older, she proved clever and made it into high school. She married a soldier, and everyone agreed they made a wonderful couple.
Sadly, just when Fu Mei was in the prime of her youth, she died young on a mountain while gathering herbs for her child.
Perhaps because she was still worried about her precious child as she drew her last breath, Fu Mei never truly left after her death. She watched over her little one from above.
By chance, Fu Mei discovered that there was more to her death than met the eye. A friend she had trusted for years had been harboring ulterior motives.
Fortunately, her husband and child didn't let her down. They weren't blind or gullible enough to fall for that wicked woman's schemes.
Still, if she ever got the chance, Fu Mei would tear that woman apart with her own hands. The villain had been so wicked, and had killed her without a hint of remorse!
Much later, perhaps because Heaven had heard her prayers, Fu Mei returned to the time before everything began...
*Watch Fu Mei hook her arm through her husband's, hold her child in her other arm, and then tear into the white lotus!
P.S. Yes, Fu Mei is a strongwoman. She tears people apart with her sharp tongue :)
Theme: A warm little story.
I bought the whole book and read it. I suspected that the author was cheating. Most of them are supporting characters, and only a small part are the protagonists. I paid the money because I wanted to see the sweet cakes of the male and female protagonists, not those who have nothing to do with them! A reminder to readers who have picked up this book!
Each person has one hand? ? Everyone has a mobile phone
Catching bugs, respectful withdrawal? ? Reflect
This article is very well written. The transition from time to time is very natural. It is not like other time travel articles. Once you time travel, you become proficient in music, chess, calligraphy and painting. Come on, great.
Aren't the urns that contain the male and female protagonists? ! ! ! !
Is Guanglingsan Buddhist? I thought it had something to do with Taoism
The writing is good, but I hope that next time the author can write more clearly about the changes in the heroine's emotions and skills after time travel. After all, having memories does not mean having feelings, nor does it mean that they will be able to do so immediately. In her previous life, she was just a little girl who had not yet reached the age of maturity.
My mother always says this when we go on a blind date.
Especially when the hero and heroine are quiet,
Insert a sentence:
Suddenly there was a shrill whistle from behind the car.
It turns out the light is green ≥≤
