The Y Qing Chronicle

Zhou Yuqing was a beggar who could barely afford to eat. Driven by desperation, he began roaming the world with a band of beggars. From having nothing to owning dozens of companies, he built Western-style houses in Shanghai, constructed interprovincial highways for the Nationalist government, and built countless bridges across the country. He yearned for knowledge and devoted himself to education, but his efforts coincided with years of war. He dedicated himself to the nation, but was born at the wrong time. After liberation, he resolutely gave up his dozens of companies throughout the country and became one of the few enlightened capitalists, thereby escaping the calamity and dying peacefully of old age. His life was a legend, the story of a modern capitalist's rise.
