[Naruto] Companionship Is the Best Confession

Kagami had thought that all his life he could only remain a student, quietly staying by that person's side.

After all, the gap between them was enormous. And he was afraid of losing that person's kindness, so he only dared to stay quietly by his side.

This continued until Teacher Hashirama died. Kagami thought he saw an opportunity, but before he could put his plan into action, that person died in the First Great Ninja War, which had been triggered by Teacher Hashirama's death!! He had died protecting the future of Konoha, including them!

In the end, they were simply too weak. That was why he had sacrificed himself, taking the enemy down with him so they could escape.

For the first time, Kagami understood what it meant to lose everything. His Mangekyo had awakened because of that person, but he hadn't been able to...

But he never expected to get another chance. Seeing that, after the Fourth Shinobi World War, that person's attitude toward him had changed from the way a teacher treated a student, he felt there could be no better news.
