Chronicles of Yuri

Gao Qi thought that couples could still be friends after breaking up, and that there would be plenty of chances to meet again. Even after a breakup, they could stay in touch. She always thought there was plenty of time, and her expectations reached higher than the sky. She couldn't tell what she felt for Wu Yuanyuan until she saw her again two years later. Wu Yuanyuan had always thought that women called Yuanyuan were usually beautiful but doomed to die young. She was the opposite: she wasn't breathtakingly beautiful, but God had always been on her side. Then she met Gao Qi. She came to understand what beauty meant, and that beautiful things were always fleeting. When Wu Yuanyuan asked her, "Have you ever been in love?" Yang Yifan was at a loss. What was love? Was it staying together through thick and thin, or forgetting each other in the vast world? Love at first sight, or deep affection that grew over time? Was love companionship, or just a bedmate? Yang Yifan didn't know. She thought she had loved Ou Mu deeply, but had buried those feelings in her heart. Yet when she saw Ou Mu again, she felt at peace. Time was a cure; there was no love left in her heart. Ou Mu had always believed that she and Yang Yifan had parted ways because they had no choice, and that once she was strong enough, she could win her back. When she finally spread her wings and flew free, she found that Yang Yifan was no longer the same person she had once been. Whatever the reason for their breakup, no matter how much time passed, their ending would never change: they would remain strangers. Theme:
