[Story blurb]
I grew up in a secluded mountain stronghold, cut off from the outside world. It was full of men, without a single woman.
When I was fourteen, my master told me I had been poisoned with a strange toxin. He tossed me a strip of white cloth and told me to bind my chest so no one would discover my secret. He also said I would have to purge the poison once a month.
Like the other men, I had a dream from childhood: to marry a gentle, beautiful wife and have a whole bunch of adorable kids.
So I quietly left the stronghold with my friends and ventured into the wider world.
I fell for Jiangnan's most beautiful woman, and even rescued her like a hero. I couldn't understand why she didn't repay me by marrying me.
I entered her husband-selection contest and, despite everyone betting against me, won first place. I married her as I wished, and we went to the bridal chamber.
But why did other men look refreshed and vigorous after getting married, while I was left exhausted and listless, with my belly swelling up?
A good buddy who missed my wedding was beside himself with regret. He acted out a little performance to show me what true bliss was.
I stared without daring to blink. "Why is your body just like my wife's?"
It turned out I was a woman!
My master was my enemy, my wife was a man who'd been switched with the real bride, and my good buddy was the man I'd been engaged to since childhood.
I stood there, utterly bewildered...
Coming soon: The Lazy Girl Lies Flat and Marries a Rich Husband [1970s] (ID8064496)
Fengyi Village has an old maid named Lin Rou. She's beautiful, hot-tempered, lazy, and loves good food. At twenty-seven, no one dares marry her.
Her father points at her and scolds, "You've brought shame on this family. Either go work the fields or figure out how to get married. I'm not supporting you anymore."
Lin Rou, a seasoned homebody with a soft, delicate body who has just transmigrated, is dumbfounded. What? Work the fields???
On her first day with a hoe, she smashes her own foot. On the second day, while planting rice, a giant leech latches onto her leg and scares her half to death. There is no third day: she decides to get married instead...
Lin Rou quickly sets her sights on Lu Ze, the village's ill-fated loner. He's strong and an excellent farmhand, with a quick mind and a loyal, honorable nature. His flaws: first, he's cold and odd-tempered; second, he's cursed to bring misfortune to his wives. Three women have been engaged to him, and each suffered an accident before the wedding...
Lin Rou uses every flirting trick she's ever learned and creates all kinds of opportunities. Even when she thinks her acting is good enough to win an Oscar, Lu Ze remains as cold as a stone, impossible to warm up.
Lin Rou decides to switch targets: Gu Songbai, the village's unmarried male teacher.
Lu Ze is baffled. Lin Rou used to be around him every day, so why hasn't he seen her these past few days?
Is she sick? Has she fallen for someone else? He quietly investigates and discovers her laughing and chatting with the village's male teacher!
Lu Ze is consumed with jealousy. "We're getting married. Right now."
Just as Lin Rou is hesitating, Lu Ze's first love shows up, eager to marry him.
That's when Lin Rou discovers she's inside a book.
In the story, Lu Ze is a hapless male side character. He marries his first love, who is pregnant with another man's child, without realizing it. He dies less than two years after the wedding, leaving behind a fortune. His first love takes the money and lives a comfortable life with her lover and their child.
He's nothing but a tool of a man, sacrificing his fortune for his first love.
Seeing Lu Ze's tragic fate, Lin Rou can't bear it. "I'll take Lu Ze."
When word gets out that they're getting married, the villagers are stunned. Everyone predicts:
With Lin Rou's fiery, lazy nature, Lu Ze will divorce her within a year. And with Lu Ze's curse, Lin Rou will be dead within a year. Anyone who marries him must have a death wish!
But after they marry, Lu Ze spoils Lin Rou so much that she doesn't lift a finger. The old maid becomes even lazier than before. They not only stay married, neither of them dies young, and they build a thriving life together.
Theme: Never stop striving for yourself.
Actually, I think Qingguo likes movies more.
And his feelings for Dongfang are more like those of his elder brother
Wasn't it because she was infatuated with the movie that she wanted to marry her at first?
Following Dongfang, I also found it interesting and fresh to play around with him.
So, my ending to this movie is a little different from the extras...
There is absolutely no need for such two endings
It would be great if the ending could be like hunting for a beautiful man! Let's continue the extra chapter. Keep both of them. Why can't women have three husbands and six pets?
Show stall
The author single-handedly pushed the ending into a dead end
(sigh)
I feel like I've been cheated out of money.
The ending neutralizes the oriental image. To be honest, I hate domineering men the most. The ending is quite hasty. I feel like the VIP part was forced out by the author. Adding emotional entanglements would have lost the original freshness and simplicity.
Sweat, I read more than a dozen chapters and then read the ending. I don't want to read anymore. The author is very dreamy. He must still be in the age of longing for love. The fantasy of love in his mind cannot be accepted. Haha, although Lin Qingying is not as good as Dongfang Qi, it is a pity that Dongfang is not with Qingguo in this book.
To be honest, the ending is a bit too hasty, and the post-V is not as attractive as the previous one.
Sure enough... I still like the East more...
To be honest, I didn't like either ending. The characters were too secular. Qingying's death was quite reasonable. But I don't want anything to happen to them. Change it again. There will be a happy ending, right?
It was very well written, but the ending was really rushed! This story could definitely have been longer - a lot more could have happened, and then the heroine would have ended up with one of the heroes.
Of the two male protagonists, I prefer Lin Qingying - although his methods are rude, but in the eyes of our readers, what he did is not a big problem~ I think Xiao Guozi prefers Lin Qingying, Dongfang Qi went to the Queen Mother and missed the opportunity, which makes the story a bit regretful
If I had to choose between the two endings, of course I would choose the one named Lin - but. . . That one is really, really (xN times) very bloody! Neither ending said which one the heroine loved! In both endings, the female protagonist ended up with one of the male protagonists without a choice. . . After reading it, I felt shocked. . .
However, I think this article (minus the ending) is still very well written! I had a lot of fun watching it, it was so exciting that I watched it all in one sitting~~ Now I'm falling into your new trap~ Come on! ! !
