On the second day after An Jing moved to Fool's Town, the mayor told her that her neighbor, Mr. Cheng Feng, had reported her for disturbing the peace. In Fool's Town, disturbing the peace is considered the most unforgivable offense. The town's rules say that anyone reported for disturbing the peace must make delicious food to compensate the person who reported them. An Jing carefully prepared lunch and nervously took it over to her neighbor's house to apologize. After Cheng Feng ate the lunch, dark circles under his eyes, he fell into thought: If only I could report her every day. Later... An Jing realized that Mr. Cheng was getting stranger and stranger. He invited her to drink coffee he'd ground himself, came to visit her in her little courtyard, gave her watermelon and blueberry seeds, and even invited her to gather chestnuts with him in late autumn. An Jing couldn't help panicking. She thought dazedly: At this rate, maybe I should report him too. Cheng Feng: ...So all that effort was for nothing. Fool's Town Resident's Guide: 1.
