A modern story unrelated to "Fantasy City: The World of Mortals," with no fantasy elements. The editor is bringing Ying Kongshi and Yan Da into the twenty-first century so they can have a turbulent romance as outstanding young adults. The story is mostly made up of lighthearted, sweet scenes woven into an angsty backstory. Since this is a modern story, the characters aren't exactly the same as in the TV series. I have to say, I really dislike the dark plotlines and settings that "Fantasy City: The World of Mortals" imposed on Da and Shi! There's more sweetness than angst, no love rivals, and all the angst comes entirely from the conflicts between the characters' fates. The two will be in love from beginning to end, and it will definitely have a happy ending ^_^!
