Fake Elf

The Jing family has never been welcome among the elite in the capital.

New money, no foresight, and far too eager to curry favor.

When they hear the Jing parents plan to have their younger daughter, Jing Man, seduce the young master of the Li family, a friend teases, "I hear she's still in her third year of high school. She's young, all right. These girls have plenty of tricks up their sleeves nowadays, so take it easy, Zi. Don't end up in some middle-aged-man-and-teenage-girl romance."

"The Jing family looks like that? I doubt Zi would fall for her. Isn't he a total looks addict?"

Everyone roars with laughter. Li Zi doesn't take it to heart and gives a lazy smile.

At a party, a lot of people from their circle show up.

Jing Man is dragged away from school by her family, still wearing her uniform. Her hair is tied in a high ponytail, her features are delicate, and her limbs slender. When she smiles, she's lovelier and more radiant than every socialite in the room.

Forced to stand in front of Li Zi, Jing Man gives him a polite bow. "Hello, Uncle. Don't worry, I only like chuunibyou boys with spiky hair, tattoos, and a smoking and drinking habit. If you don't need anything else, I'm going to do my homework."

Li Zi: "...What?"

Wasn't she supposed to seduce him?
