The Glorious Years of a T

[This is how the story looks to everyone else] Wei Yinuo was introduced to acting by her father, a renowned director, before she turned twenty. Her career went smoothly, and she remains a fixture in the industry to this day; Wei Yinuo has an adopted daughter whom she loves as her own. The girl is said to be just as beautiful, and might follow in Wei Yinuo's footsteps; Wei Yinuo also has a girlfriend eight years her senior. Their eighteen-year love story is deeply moving. [This is what the story is actually like] A performance that's always an eighty-five out of a hundred, and a perennial runner-up at every kind of award ceremony: that's Wei Yinuo. She adopted the daughter her late sister left behind, but has never managed to be "as close as mother and daughter" with her. That's Wei Yinuo, too. She's been on a love marathon with her girlfriend for more than twenty years, but has never managed to find the courage to accept her proposal. That's still Wei Yinuo. [But this is how the story looks to Wei Yinuo herself] I've made a lot of mediocre movies and TV shows. I always play tanks in games, but I'm never any good at it. I often make both my daughter and my sweetheart worry about me, but... these are my glorious years. A few things to note about this story: 1. Believe it or not, this is an entertainment-industry story featuring a full-dive online game, food, and romance. Oh, and it's a world where same-sex marriage is legal. 2. No Best Actress awards or reaching the pinnacle of her career. None of that. The protagonist isn't that accomplished! 3. The two couples are: a prodigal former internet celebrity who turns over a new leaf x a big-name star who's always a runner-up, and a game-addicted second-generation star x a former child star who unfortunately grew up plain.
