As the captain of a special operations team, Mu Kun deals with all kinds of bizarre cases every day, until his head feels ready to split. One day, after yet another murder, his team tells him they've caught a suspect. When Mu Kun arrives, he finds a drenched, undocumented kid standing there, gazing up at him with pleading eyes. The first thing out of the kid's mouth is a well-known pickup line: "Have we met before?"
After that, the undocumented kid transforms into a penniless, paperless, burdensome, illiterate little waif who can't do anything at all. The one saving grace is that the poor thing can catch ghosts.
An uncultured, semi-literate thug of a captain x an adorable little waif of a bottom who can't do a thing (not really). Ancient-to-modern transmigration, urban supernatural fiction, with all kinds of ghosts and spirits, probably.
Inspired by Dr. Chen's "1874": "Perhaps I was destined to be with you in this life, but came to the wrong era." And so the poor thing from that time came through to the present.
"I'm waiting for someone, and I've always believed..."
Unable to find a point to anchor himself in the long river of time, or a gaze that could look back at him, he could only become a fleeting gaze himself, looking out across the countless years and tangled threads of time, and fixing upon him.
"...Have we met before?"
If there is a bug, I will fix it tomorrow, emmm
