As an unemployed drifter on the verge of graduating, Lin Ran decided to give it a shot and interview at the school a friend had recommended. Who knew he would misread the sign and end up at a strange school?
Friend: Have you ever seen a school full of animals, many of them ancient ones?
From the principal to the teachers and students, they were all legendary divine beasts?
As the only human at the school, Lin Ran was under a lot of pressure. He was constantly on edge, afraid that one wrong move would get him swallowed by some hungry monster, or struck by a bolt of divine punishment for breaking a school rule.
Shanhai School motto: Study hard and pass CET-4!
All the monsters: Okay.
Couple: Bai Ze x Lin Ran
P.S. This is technically more of a primordial-world story, since many of the mythical beasts aren't exclusive to the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
It's a story about someone casually chatting about English, helping a group of language-challenged monsters pass CET-4, and, along the way, saving some little monsters who have lost their way. (Or so it seems.)
It should be this director, right?

"We monsters can travel thousands of miles without running out of energy." Bai Ze glanced at Lin Ran, and his meaning was very clear. This is a racial talent. [Nien] humans cannot compare with me. Are you here or is it originally like this?
It's so cold, let me warm you up
