Better to Grow Potatoes Than Study Mecha

[Updates follow the rankings. If there's no update before 11 p.m., there won't be one that day.] A plant-growing girl who plays the pig to eat the tiger x an artificial intelligence cross-dressing master Plant researcher Yun Miao is transported to an apocalyptic world where artificial intelligence and Lovecraftian horrors coexist. She scrapes by tightening screws in a factory, but after taking the base's entrance exam, she somehow ends up in logistics. Much of this world is a wasteland. Plants and animals that absorb radioactive clouds become bloodthirsty mutants. Her expertise is in demand, and vegetables are expensive, so Yun Miao decides the risk is worth it. One day, mutants invade the cultivation fields in the outer district. Someone sees Yun Miao from Logistics climb into a medium-sized mech and punch a monster's head clean off. * Xie Guanchao is the perfect modified human, a product chosen by the Michelle System and a bona fide human-shaped AI. To protect a certain secret, he has to wear women's clothes year-round. He also hunts spiritual-value users on the verge of mutation. When he learns that his assassination target is Yun Miao, disdain fills his perfect face. "What a waste of my talents." He lies in wait beside Yun Miao like a cat stalking a mouse, awaiting the perfect moment to kill her and savoring the thought of her dying in agony. Until Xie Guanchao's heart, cold as a machine, begins to stir in a way it never has before for Yun Miao. * The Xiya Di Divine Clan rules Paradise and also directs the Michel System. In this apocalypse of scarce supplies and dwindling energy, the descendants of the Xiya Di Divine Clan are hailed as a treasure trove of energy, second only to the stellar energy found inside mutants. They are living power banks. According to the annals of the Divine Mansion Star Domain, the Xiya Di Divine Clan and the Yue Ning Clan intermarried for generations. The Yue Ning Clan's awakeners, working in tandem with the Xiya Di Divine Clan's source bodies, could completely purify the land. Five hundred years ago, the Yue Ning Clan was wiped out in the Energy War, and the last saint of the Xiya Di Divine Clan fell into eternal sleep as a result. A few things to know before reading: 1. The plot has plenty of melodrama. It is set in an interstellar apocalypse with mechs. There are countless original worldbuilding details, no System, and the content is not meant to be scrutinized for accuracy. 2. Both leads are sexually inexperienced, and this is a one-on-one romance. Romance is a secondary storyline. The heroine is the powerful, leveling-up type. 3. First published on Jinjiang. Please keep discussion civil. Theme: Growing through adversity
