After a bet forces Yao Guang to return to China for school, she ends up living under the same roof as Lin Jichen, her lifelong nemesis.

Though they have been apart for years, they still start bickering the moment they meet. Lin's mother has tried to play matchmaker, both openly and subtly, for ages. At best, the two have managed to make peace to the extent of “treating each other like air and minding their own business.”

People say you can't force a relationship, and no one believes the two of them could ever end up together. Some even boast, “If those two get together, I'll get hit by a car the next time I go out!”

The very next second, he sees the usually woman-averse Young Master Lin in the driver's seat of a white Aston Martin at the roadside, kissing Yao Guang with abandon. His cool, charming eyes are red with obsession.

Their eyes meet. He clearly sees Lin Jichen's gaze turn vicious in an instant. Without hesitation, Lin steps on the gas...

The D University campus queen contest is in full swing. Yao Guang takes the lead by a wide margin with her bright, stunning looks, and her photos go viral online.

Then someone suddenly posts pictures of her coming and going from the same mansion as the heir to the Lin Group, who is also the fiance of the heiress of Minghe Group. The two look extremely intimate.

At the same time, the heiress posts a photo on Weibo of her throwing away her engagement ring, “Falling Star,” seemingly hinting that someone has stolen her fiance.

The moment the hashtag hits the trending list, it spreads like wildfire that night and sets the entire internet ablaze.

Overnight, Yao Guang goes from campus goddess to the internet's most hated person.

Then two people can't hold back any longer.

[Lin Group]:

I've been helping my wife relive our childhood lately. Couldn't find any marbles, so this will have to do.
