Four pairs of sharp eyes immediately swept over her. She lifted her head and puffed out her chest. "Then I'll build the house, okay?"
Reader's Notes:
1. I'm writing this on a whim. I thought it would be fun for a group of good friends who haven't graduated from college yet to transmigrate to the 1950s together, so at first there will be more focus on the friends working together to survive. As for the couples, Zhang Sile and Gu Yihui are the original pairing and won't be broken up. The other three girls will find local men, soldiers, villagers, workers, or whoever the plot calls for.
2. None of the five girls are awful people. They're genuinely close and love each other. Even when they're bickering and sabotaging each other, they're still good friends at heart. There will be other awful characters, but probably not many.
3. I've done my best to research things, but I'm not a history major, and I may change historical details to suit the plot. So, history buffs, please go easy on me. Read it if you enjoy it, and please don't attack me personally.

Theme:
The plot is very attractive, with ups and downs. The golden finger is very open. The protagonist strengthens his own abilities and strives to develop into a textbook-like character under the premise of having the golden finger. I have to imagine how rough life would be without Goldfinger. When I saw the turbulent time in the article that made the protagonists grieve and carefully prepare for many years, I admired the people who really lived through that era, and I was even more grateful and emotional about the happiness of living in this era. The love between the protagonists in the article also made me yearn for it. In that era, people's feelings were pure and real. Compared with today's fast-food love, it is really rare. Companionship, true love, and tolerance are really important. This is also the true meaning of a happy life for the protagonists.
