Friend: "... You're definitely an evil stepmother..."

Me: "..."

Me: "... Does animal affinity count? Does being popular count?"

Friend: "Is Ace popular?"

Me: "..."

"Does having a mysterious background count?"

Friend: "Is Ace's background exciting?"

Me: "..."

"My daughter's luck is off the charts!"

Friend: "And then?"

Me: "She meets Roger in a bar... and finds Crocodile just lying around when she goes outside..."

Friend: "Finding a crocodile outside doesn't count as good luck..." (He's a Marines fan.)

Me: "When she's in danger, she runs into a future Marine Admiral... And both times someone comes to save her..."

Friend: "She runs into Crocodile, danger, and human traffickers... Your daughter... has it rough..."
