Flowers bloom and fall, then wither; fate brings people together and pulls them apart. How much of it can we forget?
She is a little white fox of the Fox Clan. He is a poor boy from Chiyan Mountain. They had no ties to one another, but a heavenly tribulation brought their fates together. Twenty years later, the little white fox sets out to wander the mortal world, while the boy, having lost his mother to that same tribulation, becomes a monk who cultivates and hunts demons. Fate binds them together, yet their different identities drive them ever farther apart. After enduring one entanglement of life and death after another, can they still face their original intentions and their hearts with equanimity? The feelings buried deep within will one day burst forth. Then, will they be accepted or fade away? Will they mean nothing, or bring death?
Meeting you was the greatest joy and calamity of my life.
I will always support you and look forward to it
