[A little tip]
On a whim, I checked the completed-work ratings, and one reader was absolutely right: this is the first book in a trilogy.
When I wrote this, the main characters were still in middle school, so I didn't include much romance.
I originally planned to write a second book about them reuniting in college, with most of the romance taking place there. But that second book is still just a baby, so I haven't posted it...
I'm so sorry, dear reader. (clasps hands and kneels gently.jpg)
P.S. I wanted to reply to that reader, but it seems you can't reply to completed-work ratings, so I'm putting this here instead.
Echizen Ryoma has an older sister: willful and ambitious, proud and confident, determined to win and always eager to stir up trouble.
She plays tennis and practices yin-yang magic. Always rushing here and there, she also loves teasing her equally willful younger brother.
Once, believing she wasn't perfect enough, she fell into self-doubt and set out on the path to perfection. But after meeting all sorts of people and facing all sorts of things, she learned to accept her flaws and make peace with her past self.
Still, she must set out on a journey to become as perfect as she can.
Reader's Guide:
● The characters may be somewhat out of character, and there are many original elements. The timeline only goes as far as the National Tournament.
● The sister is two years older than Echizen Ryoma, and her tennis skills are better than Ryoma's.
● She often wears men's clothes and may be a bit of an unconscious tease. Love interest: Fuji Syusuke.
● I'm not a great writer, so please be gentle.
● The completed pure-love story, When a Career-Obsessed Swordsman Becomes a Teasing Heartthrob. The protagonist is a sword cultivator who follows the merciless path, a heartbreaker, and a true career obsessive who only cares about ascending to immortality.
● The completed no-romance female-lead story, Cultivation: Walking the Clouds. The protagonist is a cunning, sharp-tongued little rascal: willful and ambitious, all bark and a soft heart, clear about what she loves and what she hates.
● You're welcome to take a peek, dear readers~ If you think the story is decent, please add it to your favorites. (You can also move it to your [Read] list after finishing.) Thank you so much~
Theme: Accepting your imperfections
Why isn't the heroine's last name Echizen?
