(Itazura Na Kiss) Plucking the Flower on the High Peak

Based on the 1996 Japanese version of Itazura na Kiss. I was inspired to start writing by a young reader of Love Letter fanfiction. The story of (changed) Reiko Matsumoto and (aloof) Naoki Irie Breaking up the original pairing Reiko used to be a girl who left Naoki Irie completely unmoved, and even annoyed him a little. After waking from a dream, she began to "grow up" and made a rather silly bet with herself: if she could win the same championship as Naoki in the intercollegiate women's basketball tournament, she would keep loving him. If she lost, she would give up. But even if she wins, can she really get the aloof heartthrob she longs for? And if she loses, will Naoki really let her run away? Naoki Irie of Class A at Seito High has always been indifferent to everything. His intelligence is so exceptional that nothing takes any effort, so he doesn't take anything seriously. In his eyes, everything except his family falls into one of three categories: annoying, boring, or not unpleasant. But then there's one person who's smart and cute, and even her little streak of pride makes him like her. She's completely captivating. Though she used to be selfish and arrogant, he still fell for her. A sugary sweet story about two gorgeous people with brains to match! Warning, warning! It's seriously super sweet! Like it's been covered in ten layers of powdered sugar! If anything seems illogical, it's definitely because the author isn't smart enough. Just a little whisper: it's finished, so feel free to read it. Keep it in your favorites even after you're done~ Love you all~ [Don't scrutinize the details. It contains a ton of original additions, and the characters may be a little OOC. I'll try to keep that under control. I'll also borrow a tiny bit from Nodame Cantabile, since Reiko plays piano! It won't affect your reading at all~ Just let me make things up as I go!] Theme: The Iceberg Melting Plan
