Riverbank Metamorphosis

The heir has returned to the capital!

That wilful little girl still hasn't broken off their engagement?

Tsk. What a disappointment.

Oh well, a broken pot belongs with a broken stove.

Gu Mei: Pah!

1. The premise involves transmigrating into a book, but the male lead doesn't know he's entered a novel. So when he sees the prime minister, the top scholar, the shadow guards, and the like, he just has to, ahem, keep calm.

2. The female lead is a standard brainless cannon-fodder character from a novel: spoiled and domineering. She was headed for a miserable ending, but after the male lead transmigrates, he turns a story of abuse, miscarriage, and domestic violence into a sweet romance about the two of them taming each other.

3. This is a writing exercise. Updates whenever inspiration strikes. Having fun is what matters most!
