One day, while cutting down Lunarians, the emerald Esmeralde passed through a dimensional gate and fell into another world.
Looking at this completely unfamiliar continent, filled with the legendary humans, Esmeralde thought it over:
There's a sun, so I won't starve to death. No Lunarians, so nobody will mess with me. Whatever. I'll do what I want.
And so he set off on his journey through another world, unaware that plenty of people there would covet both his beauty and his worth.

* The protagonist is an original Gem, an emerald. The English word is "emerald," but in one language it's "es.meraude." The author thought that transliteration sounded nicer, so that's what he called him. (The heroine of The Hunchback of Notre-Dame has a similar name, and both mean emerald.)
* The protagonist is the bottom in the Chrollo pairing.
* Esmeralde is a laid-back, literal rock. No matter how the wind blows or the rain falls, I won't give you so much as a turd.
* A crossover of various series. Worlds include Hunter x Hunter, Mushishi, Natsume's Book of Friends, (maybe) Durarara!!, (maybe) Gintama, and others to be decided.
A little rant: JJ is unbelievable. They even censor the letters "s" and "m" appearing together in a word. Imagine, even perfectly innocent words like "smart" and "smash" get blanked out. Nobody else could be this ridiculous.
