This is a simple, melodramatic story about a female lead who is betrayed and then transmigrates into the modern world. The difference is that she comes from a matriarchal country, so this is a gender-role-reversal romance. (Don't ask the author what that means.)

Couple: a gong who seems gentle but is cold inside x a shou who's a rascal and rather obsessive (they dote on each other, with the gong doing most of the doting~)
