He turns to the author: (raises his hand) Super...

Author: (There's no way I can make your wife give birth!) Wait! You don't have to do it! (raises a blade and throws herself onto it) The end.

Before reading this story, please let me say a few things:

I've never been able to sort out the rankings of the gods and immortals in mythology, or how the various gods relate to each other. After reading lots of novels and watching anime based on mythology, it all got even more confusing... I feel like I've never once gotten my own theories right... OTL. So I've decided to stop worrying about it and make things up freely. You can just read it casually, too. Please don't come argue with me. If you can't stand it, please just leave without telling me, okay?

Writing fanfiction runs on love. I signed a contract with Jinjiang, but none of my books ever went premium. My editor used to tell me that many of my stories couldn't go premium, like Infinite Terror, and it was really painful. Later, I realized that it was actually a good thing. At least I could write what I liked. I signed the contract in college. After I started working, I kept writing purely because I love fanfiction, and I no longer cared about making money. Only the big-name authors can make a living at this. I'm just a tiny shrimp~

This story has lots of plot holes. I've changed many settings and character relationships just to serve the plot. I've marked some parts from the original work with [ ], and there are borrowed elements too, but most of the plot is original. You can see that for yourselves. I've skipped a lot of unnecessary scenes because I've tried writing them before, and long stretches like that aren't very interesting. If you're interested, you can check out the original work, the TV series, or Baidu.

My chosen pairing has always been Sephiroth. Lord Sephiroth is in the story from beginning to end, so that's all good, right!?

It's just that Sephiroth after his corruption is hard to get right. Some readers have told me I've ruined his image and so on. I don't want to explain myself. Read it if you like. All I can say is that I love Sephiroth dearly! I would never bash him! I swear: I may write the plot without thinking or feeling, but when I write Sephiroth, I write with love!

Lastly, and most importantly, the heroine may not suit everyone's tastes. I made it clear in the first installment that she's only the heroine because the male lead likes her! So please think carefully before starting. And if you do start reading, please don't complain that the author's writing or characterization is off... I would love to get to know Sephiroth more intimately, but I have to actually meet him first!!
