Mr. Qiao's Daily Quest to Win His Wife Back

The students in a lab at C University’s Shaw Building notice that their advisor has been acting strangely. The man who used to stay in the lab until midnight and never take weekends off suddenly starts leaving work on time, earlier than anyone else. "Professor, are you leaving so early today?" "I'll leave the lab to you. I have to go home and cook." Everyone present looks at him as if they've seen a ghost. Does their handsome, well-connected professor really have to cook for himself? That evening Zhou Ziyan, waiting for takeout, hears a knock and runs to open the door. Seeing Qiao Si standing there, she can't help feeling annoyed. "How many times do I have to tell you? We're divorced! Can you stop bothering me?" Looking at the unusually irritable woman before him, Qiao Si smiles faintly and asks, "I made salt-and-pepper lamb chops for dinner. Want some?" After a long silence, Zhou Ziyan holds her rumbling stomach and nods. "...I'll eat!" One day later, Qiao Si comes by again to knock and invite her to dinner, only to see Zhou Ziyan holding her stomach and refusing in frustration. "I've put on weight lately. I'm not eating!" At this, Qiao Si looks her up and down, then hurries downstairs to buy a pregnancy test. Theme:
