I came across the idea of Superman freely switching genders on Lofter, but I can't find it now. If anyone knows where it is, please let me know. I'll take it down if requested.
In this story, Batman is 39 and has been active for 15 years; Superman is 30 and has been active for 6 years, fighting crime as Superwoman Karen El. The Justice League has been around for a while, but Batman still hasn't figured out the members' real identities, though he does suspect a few people. The character portrayals are based on Batfleck and Henry Cavill's Superman. Superman is a huge Batman fan, completely smitten with him. Batman is an emotionally oblivious, celibate idealist, a confirmed bachelor; his playboy persona is all an act. Batman loves Supergirl but keeps it buried deep inside and has never said so. Bruce, however, is also quite taken with the reporter, while neither side has revealed their double identities.
